The New Moon in Aries was Saturday, February 10, 2024.

Today I'm going to be talking about capturing the energy of the New Moon in Aries.

For those of you who are spiritual entrepreneurs I want to let you know that I have Google Docs running in the background with the transcribe option tool working so that I can transcribe this as I am recording it as a podcast.

The New Moon in Aries = Chinese New Year

This is an important point in the year on an energetic level -- especially for the Northern Hemisphere. It symbolises the start of a New Lunar Year and the Chinese people have traditionally celebrated this lunar event as the point of their New Year.

New Moons are traditionally used for new beginnings. Aries, the first Fire Sign of the Year and the first zodiac sign of the new year, and it lends its energy to the mix. It brings its fresh, fiery energy to help you find the motivation to grow something new. It also introduces a lot of Creative Energy along with it and it also kind of burn away the old in order to make space for the new.

Now is a great time to really focus on what you want to create in your life in the coming year. Ask yourself questions like:

  • What do I want my life to look like?

  • What changes do I want to see happen in my career?

  • What changes do I want to see in my relationships?

  • Who do I want to be as a person?

  • How do I want to spend my time?

Don't forget: change and transformation will take time

It seems that a lot of people want to ignore that fact that change and transformation take time. We want instantaneous results. We want to start from the most positive place with exactly the right tools...

Really, though, you need to learn to start where you are, with what you have. You usually collect tools, wisdom, and skills along the way. Ain't nothing wrong with that -- it's ultimately the Fool's Journey.

You have to take an honest look at where you are and where you want to be, so you can figure out what the difference is and change things.

Change does not usually happen overnight, either. I mean aside from the magical Miracle things that nobody can really explain, but that isn't what we're talking about now. A seed needs time to germinate, to grow roots and to break through the soil. It needs time to grow leaves to harness the sun. It needs nutrients that support its growth. It needs time to bear fruit.

You're growth and change will also require time and energy, especially the growth and conscience change that happens when you're building something big, something solid and life-altering.

You may have been feeling the pull in your bones. Now is an excellent time -- energetically speaking -- to consciously start of a different way of living and being in order to transform your life.

And ultimately, you're going to have to make changes if you want your life to change. You have to start being the person you want to be more often in order to be that person full time. You have to start living the life you want in order to have the life you want. <-- To do that, you'll need to have a good idea of what that looks and feels like.

This might require that you continue to hang on to some of the things that are a part of what you're leaving behind in order to have security and stability to create what you want to create. I think of this like the old leaves and debris in my garden, providing warmth and protection for the fragile new shoots that are just starting to break through the soil. They need the protection and nourishment of that debris in order to thrive.

For example, I need the financial stability of my day job as a SEO and Content Strategist/Project Manager to support my fledgling business as an Intuitive Mentor and Advisor and my counselling education. I want to change that source of money ASAP, shifting it from my day job to my creative work and my own projects. This transformation will require time, energy, and patience from me while I build the new with the support and nourishment of the old.

💡 I'm not only making a plan, but I am also creating a strategy and setting little goals along the way that will keep me on track.

Even the Moon needs time to grow

Are you ready to transform your life?

I invite you to really lean into the energy of transformation this year and connection with the Earth around you. There's so much wisdom in nature and your surroundings if you're willing to look at it and make connections between what's going on in your life and what the Earth around you is doing.

In the next 2-3 days, take time to journal about those questions I asked above: What do I want my life to look like? Who do I want to become? What do I want my career to look like? What do I want my relationships to look like.

Don't just write about it, but take time to really meditate on it. What does it feel like? Sound like? Smell like? Look like? Can you imagine yourself BEING that person, LIVING that life?

What are some small steps you can take TODAY that would bring you closer to your vision? What can you realistically incorporate into your habits and lifestyle to support your transformation?

Use the energy around you to influence a positive outcome, to give you motivation and the creativity (and courage) to create something you truly desire.

And then start to create it. One small step or giant leap at a time. Grow. Transform. Heal.

I'm rooting for you.

With love and respect,
Sue
